Jute is coarsely woven. Large, simple logos come out well; small details, thin lines and small letters print less well, and we sometimes advise enlarging the logo. If your logo has a lot of detail, choose a bag with canvas panels or a cotton front pocket. Each model has a maximum print area, from 15 x 10 cm on a small gift bag to 34 x 26 cm on a shopper.

Why is jute harder to print on?
Because jute is coarsely woven, small details in a logo, thin lines and small letters print less well. So after receiving your logo we may advise adjusting or enlarging it. You always get a free digital proof first.
Choose a smooth surface for a detailed logo
On bags with canvas panels the logo goes on the canvas, on bags with a cotton front pocket on that pocket. That gives a smoother print area than the jute itself. The jute shopper with canvas panels has a print area of up to 34 x 26 cm. More about the types in jute, juco or laminated.
Embroidery on jute
Some jute bags are also suitable for embroidery. For those models the maximum embroidery size is in the description, for example on the shoppers with side gusset, which are suitable for screen printing or embroidery.
